Typically this is caused by a time mismatch between your computer and the mobile device where you receive your MFA code. If the time on the devices do not match exactly, the MFA code you receive will not be valid.
Solution:
If using a Windows PC:
- Windows Menu > Search for Time > Change the Date and Time Settings
- Turn on "Set time zone automatically", and make sure the correct time zone is being automatically selected.
- Turn on "Set time automatically", and if it is already on turn it OFF, then turn it back on.
- Click "Sync now" to ensure your computer's clock is properly synced.
If using a Mac:
- Apple Menu > System Preferences > Date & Time
- Check the checkbox "Set time zone automatically using current location"
If you continue to receive the same error, clear your browser cache and cookies (making sure to set the time period to Lifetime or All Time), close all open browser windows, and try logging in again. Also, try Resetting your MFA.
