Customize system-generated emails and text messages using templates. 

Email and SMS templates can be found and edited in the Email / SMS Templates tab of your User Settings and/or Company Settings.

Email Templates
Customizations made in User Settings will override Company Settings


Modifying a template

To edit a template, click on its title. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to: 



• Add or remove recipients in the To, CC, Bcc fields. 

• Add or remove information tags 

• Customize body of email template, including HTML



Information tags insert custom data based on the loan's relevant information.


Using Information Tags

Choose from hundreds of information tags, enclosed in double curly brackets {{like this}}, to populate the template with borrower information, LO information, subject property data, and more.


 

Customizing Templates in HTML

For advanced customization, edit your email templates with HTML. Click the “More Misc” on the right side of the bar and select “Code View” to access and edit the HTML.




Sending Test Emails

Ensure your template(s) appear as intended by sending a test email. Click on the three dots “•••” on the right side of the template title and select “Send Test Email.”


Setting Reminder Schedules 

Use the following email templates to set reminder schedules for borrowers and loan teams: 


In User & Company Settings

“Remind Borrower About Submitting Pending POS App”

“Remind Borrower About Pending Client Needs”


In Company Settings Only 

“When the Rate is About to Expire”


SMS Templates
To utilize SMS templates be sure to integrate your Twilio account. Instructions are available here: https://support.arive.com/en/support/solutions/articles/61000306240

Accessing SMS Templates
SMS Templates are available for Loan Status and Loan Tracker categories only. They can be accessed in the same way as Email Templates. Navigate to Company Settings or User Settings then to the Email / SMS Templates section.
