The ARIVE AI document classification and extraction beta is being temporarily turned off for all organizations as of Aug 30, 2026 while we review the classification feedback received during early access and prepare an improved beta for relaunch. The ARIVE AI chat for lender guideline questions and the optional borrower-facing POS chat assistant remain available.

Q: What does ARIVE AI (beta) do?

ARIVE AI is a narrow set of capabilities to further streamline and automate loan-processing workflows, announced to the broker community in our Q1 2026 roadmap. One early-access feature we announced was suggesting a classification for uploaded documents and extracting data fields from supported document types, displaying them next to the document for your review; the ARIVE AI chat answers broker questions about lender guidelines; and the optional POS chat assistant assists borrowers in the application experience (off by default, enabled only by you). ARIVE AI also carries clear disclaimers that it can make mistakes and that everything is for your review. In addition, ARIVE AI makes no loan decisions, underwriting, approvals, denials, or pricing.

Q: Why now? What changes for my workflow?

We worked very hard to develop our classification engine and are now reviewing feedback on an early-access feature that was live for a little over a week. This was the purpose of the early-access beta. We will be incorporating your feedback and further validating the results offline, rather than iterating on a live feature. You are always in control of classifications, and no data extracted gets applied to the loan file automatically. Documents you upload continue to be received, stored, and available in your loan files exactly as before, and all other workflows continue unchanged.

Q: Was borrower data sent to an outside AI company, or used to train AI?

No, and no. ARIVE AI's processing of loan documents and data runs inside ARIVE's own secured AWS environment in the United States - the same environment that already hosts your loan file data and documents - using AWS Bedrock, a managed AWS service. Content is not used to train models, and the companies that build the underlying models cannot access it. No new vendor was added: AWS has been ARIVE's infrastructure provider since its inception and appears on our published Sub-Processor List; Bedrock is in scope of AWS's SOC 1, 2, and 3 reports, and ARIVE maintains its own SOC 2 Type II program.

Q: Is this a new use of borrower data?

No. The purpose is the same one the platform has always served: processing the documents and data a borrower provides for the loan application they asked you to originate. It is performed by the same category of service provider — the ARIVE platform and its infrastructure providers — that platform use has always involved, and it operates under the same framework that has always governed the platform: Customer Data is processed by ARIVE and its service providers to provide the Services, and it remains yours. As has always been the case, borrower privacy notices and consents are managed by you. For questions about your specific notices, consult your compliance team or counsel.

Q: When will ARIVE AI return, and can my organization turn it off?

We will re-enable ARIVE AI when we feel comfortable we have incorporated your feedback — and it will return as a beta, because we'll keep gathering feedback and measuring results before general availability. We'll announce timing once validation is complete, and we will provide additional information that expressly describes the feature and our data commitments. While we don't offer an organization-level opt-out for document processing, we will keep listening to your feedback as we improve the feature. And remember, your control lives where it matters most: you are always in control of your data, nothing updates a loan file unless you opt in, data never leaves ARIVE's environment, and it is never used to train models. The POS chat assistant remains optional and controlled by your organization.

Q: What’s ahead for ARIVE AI and ARIVE plans?

ARIVE AI will keep maturing, and at some point the beta label will come off — but our approach won’t change: you will be in control of your loan files and the information you submit to lenders for your borrower clients. We hope that appropriate AI capabilities can provide valuable assistance, but AI suggestions can make mistakes, they will always carry clear disclaimers, and nothing updates a loan file unless you opt in. We’ve also heard your questions about plans and pricing. Plan and pricing updates for next year will be shared later this year in a dedicated announcement, with advance notice and full details. Please be assured that we take the privacy and security of your data very seriously, and will continue to take measures to protect that data as we provide new innovative tools to help you be most successful.
