After the borrower has clicked the Submit Application button in the POS (or after the LO on the file has clicked the Takeover Client App button in the LOS), the 1003 info will no longer be accessible by the borrower or any linked co-borrowers. Instead, when they log into the borrower portal they will see the following three tabs:
- Loan Details
- Task List
- Documents
In the Loan Details tab, the borrower can see basic info about their application, including the current status of their loan file, loan amount, product, and estimated monthly payment.
If you have Show Locked Rate and Show Lock Info enabled in your POS App Config settings, these will also be shown to the borrower. See our POS Application Configuration article for more info.
In the Task List tab, the borrower will see Client Needs. Needs awaiting borrower action are shown at the top, and needs that have already been submitted by the borrower will appear at the bottom.
If you have enabled Can Complete Co-Borrower's Tasks for a borrower in the Borrower Info > Manage Borrowers section of the loan file, that borrower will be able to respond to Client Needs sent to the co-borrower on their behalf.
In the Documents tab, the borrower can see any documents that they or their linked co-borrower have uploaded, in addition to any documents in the loan file that have been set to be visible to them (via the Documents tab > Show to Clients section in the LOS).
The Misc Docs button in the upper right corner of this tab allows the borrower to upload documents without a Client Need. Borrowers should not use this to upload documents in response to a need, as documents uploaded via this button will not be automatically associated with any Client Need and this will need to be done manually in the LOS.
