Borrower loan applications can be merged by using the 3.2/3.4 import and export options.
1. Navigate to the loan you prefer to merge into another loan.
You may have a new loan file (Loan B) you want to merge into an original or main loan file (Loan A). In this case, navigate to Loan B.
2. Click the ... button in the upper right.
3. Select your export option.
Export Options
- FNM 3.2
- MISMO 3.4 (.xml)
- MISMO 3.4 (.zip)
- If this option is selected, there will be an extra step as you will have to unzip the file on your device before importing it into the other loan.
If you select one of the MISMO 3.4 options, you will be prompted to make another selection. For the purposes of merging loan application, all options are the same.
Export MISMO 3.4 Options
- Fannie Mae (DU/Lender)
- Freddie Mac (LPA)
- Doc Vendor Export
- Registration Export
5. Navigate to the loan you prefer to add the loan.
You may have a new loan file (Loan B) you want to merge into an original or main loan file (Loan A). In this case, navigate to Loan A.
6. Click the ... button in the upper right.
7. Select your import option.
Import Options
- FNM 3.2
- MISMO 3.4
8. Based on your previous select, drag and drop the FNM 3.2 or MISMO 3.4 file from your device into the blue square or click the Select Files button to select the file from your devices file explorer.
- If you chose to export a MISMO 3.4 (.zip) file, then you will have to unzip the file on your device before selecting the file to import it here.
9. Click Upload. to complete the import process to merge your loan applications.
You'll see a preview of the borrower you are about to import to the right.
