There are two main ways borrowers initially interact with the POS:

  1. Direct Link
  2. Direct Invitation

Direct Link

Arive includes a POS link unique to your company.  It is also possible to create a link for the POS which assigns loans directly to a loan officer.  If anyone clicks this link, they will be taken to the POS, where they can either log in or create a new account.

These URLs are best used in email signatures, on websites, and "apply now" buttons.

Direct Invitation

From an existing loan, which has basic borrower details, such as an email, entered already, users can send an email which invites the borrower to the POS.

Invitation to Complete the Application

If the 1003 application is incomplete in the loan, you can send an invite which will prompt the borrower to complete the application details.  To do so:

  1. Click Invite Borrower at the top left of the loan file.
  2. Check the boxes for any borrowers you wish to invite and uncheck boxes for borrowers you do not wish to invite.
  3. Select Full Application in the dropdown menu beneath the borrowers' names.
  4. (Optional) Click Preview/Edit Email to edit the invitation email prior to sending.
  5. (Optional) If you performed step 3 above, click Save.
  6. Click Send Invite.

See these steps below:

Invitation to Upload Documents

If the borrower's 1003 application is complete, you can invite the borrower to complete documents and client needs.  Sending them a "Document Only" invitation will allow them to access the Tasks portion of the POS, rather than the application.  To do so:

  1. Click Invite Borrower at the top left of the loan file.
  2. Check the boxes for any borrowers you wish to invite and uncheck boxes for borrowers you do not wish to invite.
  3. Select Document Only in the dropdown menu beneath the borrowers' names.
  4. (Optional) Click Preview/Edit Email to edit the invitation email prior to sending.
  5. (Optional) If you performed step 3 above, click Save.
  6. Click Send Invite.
