To change which status milestone a loan is at, click the Status portion of the action bar at the top of the loan file.
Then you can choose which status pipeline you want it moved into and then click a specific status at the bottom to change it to that status.
You will then be prompted to enter dates and other info depending on the category you're moving to, and given the option to send a notification email to the loan contacts.
You are not forced to progress through every single status, you can jump ahead to a future status if needed.
Why can't I change the loan's status?
Your Company Admin may have created an Automation Rule that sets additional requirements before files can be moved to a given status. If this is the case, you will see an Automation Alert popup listing the required fields that you have not completed. If you have any questions about an Automation Alert, reach out to your Company Admin.
Can I customize my loan statuses or create my own?
No, you cannot.
