Users can set an email signature, which will appear at the bottom of system-generated emails.  There is a default which will appear in your profile.  But, this can be customized with free-form text, as well as with system field data.  For example, a signature can be set to pull the email address or company address from the LOS dynamically.  If the information changes, you won't need to edit the signature again because the information will pull from the system.

To edit your email signature try the following:

  1. Click the profile image at the top right of ARIVE.
  2. Click User Settings.
  3. Click Email Signature in the left-hand list.
  4. Click Edit at the top right.
  5. Click in the text field.
  6. You can type an email signature and delete what is already here, if desired.  The field is free-form text and functions like a typical text editor.
  7. If you want to add system field data, click the Need help? link at the top right of the text field.  If you do not, proceed to step 15.
  8. A flyout window opens with the list of system tags which can be used.  Find the one you want.
  9. Note the name in the right-hand column in the list.
  10. Click in the space behind the flyout window to navigate back to the text field.
  11. Click inside of the text field where you want to add the tag.
  12. Type "{{" and the first word of the tag name in step 9.
  13. You will see suggestions appear below where you are typing.  Click to select the tag you want to use.  The tag should automatically be entered, along with closing braces "}}."
  14. Continue with steps 6 through 13 as much as needed.
  15. Click Save at the top right.

See the steps performed below, which add the organization address (company address) to the email signature, as an example:
